Three dimensions packaging provides a very promising technology for the effective integration of complex systems: devices that are optimally implemented with various different technologies can be separately manufactured and then stacked and connected by means of efficient vertical interconnections over a very short range; this provides most of the ...

Capacitive Coupling RC-Oscillator
2018In the previous chapter, the quadrature oscillator with active coupling was analysed. The disadvantages of this coupling are the increase of the noise and power dissipation. In this chapter, we analyse the passive coupling which is an alternative method that diminishes these disadvantages.

Strongly capacitively coupled quantum dots
Applied Physics Letters, 2002Double quantum dots were formed in a gated GaAs/AlGaAs heterostructure with negligible interdot tunneling; strong capacitive coupling was provided by a floating interdot capacitor. The interdot capacitance was measured to be 0.28CΣ, where CΣ is the single-dot capacitance. Coulomb blockade conductance images for both dots versus side gate voltages at 70

Capacitively coupled oscillator array behaviour
IEE Proceedings - Circuits, Devices and Systems, 1996A simple lumped element coupled oscillator theory which permits in-phase distributed power combining to occur has been developed for planar distributed oscillator combinations. Individual oscillators are mutually locked together through a coupling capacitance network.

Capacitively coupled magnetic amplifiers
Transactions of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers, Part I: Communication and Electronics, 1959Amplification of a-c signals with magnetic amplifiers is generally more difficult than d-camplification. The conventional full-wave circuits, such as the doubler circuit and the bridge circuit, can yield high performance only by demodulating a-c signals and amplifying the resultant direct current.

Semipermanent Storage by Capacitive Coupling
IEEE Transactions on Electronic Computers, 1961The need arises for reliable, economical high-speed, semipermanent stores for electronic-telephone switching systems, as well as for modern digital computers. A semipermanent or fixed store is one in which the stored information may not be changed by the machine that is able to consult it.

Capacitance-Coupled Intermediate-Frequency Amplifiers
Proceedings of the IRE, 1947This paper discusses the performance characteristics of capacitance-coupled intermediate-frequency-amplifier circuits. Double-ended loading is preferred to single-ended loading in order to satisfy practical tolerance requirements. An approximate method is treated for the design of capacitance-coupled attenuating traps for a television intermediate ...

Capacitively-Coupled Chopper Operational Amplifiers
2016In Chap. 3, the basic capacitively-coupled chopper topology for operational amplifiers (opamp) has been described. In this chapter, two capacitively-coupled chopper opamps (CCOPA) will be presented. They both achieve wide input common-mode voltage range (CMVR) and high precision.
