Respective parts of capacitive and inductive coupling

Proceedings. 9th IEEE Workshop on Signal Propagation on Interconnects, 2005., 2005
Rapid progress in integrated circuit technology has led to an increase in the switching speed of the digital chip. As a result, there is a growing interest in the inductance associated with signal lines. In this paper we show the influence of inductance on crosstalk voltage by considering a configuration of two parallel coupled interconnects.

Reduction and Cancellation Techniques for the Near Field Capacitive Coupling and Parasitic Capacitance of Inductors

2018 IEEE Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility, Signal Integrity and Power Integrity (EMC, SI & PI), 2018
In this paper, a near field capacitive coupling problem due to PCB layout is first identified. Methods to extract the capacitances in a multi-conductor system are introduced to help analyze the problem.

Capacitively coupled front end

Sensors and Actuators A: Physical, 1995
The results of an investigation into two methods to eliminate the problems of 1/f noise and offset drift in instrumentation amplifiers are reported. First attempts at switched capacitor methods show that these defects can be successfully reduced but, in this study, at the expense of increased white noise.

Capacitively coupled field mapper

Electrical Engineering, 1953
An electric analogue mapper is described whose accuracy, although limited by resistive paper and dielectric nonuniformity, is excellent. The maximum error in line position should not exceed 1 per cent of the maximum map dimension while the average error should be considerably less.

Ballistocardiographic Coupling of Triboelectric Charges into Capacitive ECG

2019 IEEE International Symposium on Medical Measurements and Applications (MeMeA), 2019
Capacitive ECG (cECG), a technique older than 50, is able to replace the gold standard ECG only in certain applications where unobtrusiveness and conformity are aimed at the expense of reduced signal quality. Triboelectric surface charges, motion artifacts, and resulting time-variant coupling capacitances are among the reasons for the signal ...

Sparsification of Dense Capacitive Coupling of Interconnect Models

IEEE Transactions on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) Systems, 2013
Parasitic elements play a major role in advanced circuit design and pose considerable run-time and memory problems for the post-layout verification, especially in the case of full-chip extraction. This brief presents a realizable R(L)C(M)-netlist-in-R(L)C(M)-netlist-out method to sparsify and reduce the capacitive coupling parasitics in circuits with ...

Wireless Power Transfer Across a Metal Barrier by Combined Capacitive and Inductive Coupling

IEEE transactions on industrial electronics (1982. Print), 2019
This paper proposes a method to transfer power across a metal barrier wirelessly by combined capacitive and inductive coupling. At the primary side of the power transfer system a two plate coupling interface is designed to allow for a current flow in the

Chip-to-chip communication based on capacitive coupling

2009 IEEE International Conference on 3D System Integration, 2009
This paper presents a review of the solutions proposed for chip-to-chip communication based on capacitive coupling. Circuit designs, assembly options and various different test cases are presented in this work. It is shown that this 3D technology is capable of transferring digital data between two dies at high-speed with low power consumption, and ...
