In‐Pt Supported Catalytically Active Liquid Metal Solutions for Propane Dehydrogenation – Role of Surface Acidity of Support

open access: yesChemCatChem, EarlyView.
Reduction of an impregnated Pt‐doped In2O3/Al2O3 catalysts in H2 yields a liquid In‐rich In‐Pt alloy on Al2O3 (supported catalytically active liquid metal solution – SCALMS), which is monitored by means of in situ XRD. Further, the effect of surface functionalization of commercially available Al2O3 supports is studied during propane dehydrogenation ...

Thermally Assisted Photocatalytic Hydrogen Production Using TiO₂/Cu: Evaluation of Performance and Stability

open access: yesChemCatChem, EarlyView.
Thermal enhancement of TiO2/Cu photocatalysis boosts H2 production from 3,847 µmol g−1 h−1 at 40°C to 10,421 µmol g−1 h−1 at 70 °C. Elevated temperatures improve charge separation and reaction kinetics while maintaining catalyst stability. The synergistic photothermal approach demonstrates Cu/TiO2 as an efficient, noble‐metal‐free system for ...

Reproducibility in Artificial Photosynthesis: A Case Study on SnO₂/Cu Photocatalysts

open access: yesChemCatChem, EarlyView.
Sketch representing that the remaining sol gel adsorbate (ethanol) showed pronounced effects on catalytic evaluation under controlled environment and offered electrons for the reprecipitation of leached copper. Abstract This study examines how synthesis routes and storage conditions affect the reliability of photocatalytic data for SnO₂/Cu catalysts ...

The Female‐Responsive Mentoring Model: A Constructivist Grounded Theory

open access: yesCounselor Education and Supervision, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Researchers used constructivist grounded theory within a feminist standpoint theory framework to examine female counselor educators’ (n = 15) mentorship experiences throughout their academic careers. Findings yielded a feminist, process‐centered model for mentoring female counselor educators (FRMM) that emphasizes relational and holistic ...
