‘Narrow-sense’ and ‘broad-sense’ vascular abnormalities of systemic sclerosis
Systemic sclerosis (SSc) induces skin thickening and numerous symptoms involving the entire body. Collagen deposition, immune disorder, and vascular abnormalities is currently estimated to be three major causal factors involved in the respective ...

PATOPHYSIOLOGICAL MECHANISM OF PIGMENTED PURPURIC DERMATOSES [PDF]
Aim: Patophysiological modeling of pigmented purpuric dermatoses based on venous hypertension. Capillaritis are considered to be patophysiological equivalent, or etiological basis of pigmented purpuric dermatoses.

Changes in foot volume and capillary fragility during continuous cold exposure and starvation
The effects of continuous cold exposure (2 wk. at 60°F) and starvation on foot volume and capillary fragility were studied in six men. The experimental period was preceded and followed by 2-week periods (control and recovery) at 80°F and a caloric ...

Enhancing Bubble Removal in Geometry‐Optimized Electrodes
3D‐printed lattice electrodes outperform stochastic foams in alkaline water electrolysis despite 20%–25% lower surface area. Straight flow channels generate Venturi‐like bubble entrainment, suppressing gas accumulation that renders foam interiors electrochemically inactive.

Capillary fragility and doxium [PDF]
The effect of Doxium on capillary resistance has been investigated in a 7 month double-blind clinical trial on 16 long-term diabetics with retionpathy. Quantitative measurements were performed every 5–6 weeks. The drug showed no effect on capillary resistance.

Stretching the Printability Metric in Direct‐Ink Writing with Highly Extensible Yield‐Stress Fluids
This study introduces “drawability” as a new metric for assessing printability in direct‐ink writing, focusing on gap‐spanning performance and speed robustness. By designing yield‐stress fluids with high extensibility, we demonstrate that extensional strain‐to‐break significantly enhances printability.

Biomass Native Structure Into Functional Carbon‐Based Catalysts for Fenton‐Like Reactions
This study indicates that eight biomasses with 2D flaky and 1D acicular structures influence surface O types, morphology, defects, N doping, sp2 C, and Co nanoparticles loading in three series of carbon, N‐doped carbon, and cobalt/graphitic carbon. This work identifies how these structural factors impact catalytic pathways, enhancing selective electron
