Labour, Nature and Capitalism [PDF]

open access: yes
Labour, Nature and Capitalism traces how the alliance between labour and capital manifests in the form of conflicts between organised trade unions and a local environmental movement in the context of the much-acclaimed Kerala model of development. It explores the history of the area’s local industrialisation, the presence of varied economic interests ...

Scrambling‐Enhanced Quantum Battery Charging in Black Hole Analogues

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
By employing a black‐hole‐analog quantum battery constructed from a position‐dependent XY model, its dynamical behavior is investigated through a quench of the scrambling parameter. It is systematically quantified that how the simulated scrambling improves key performance metrics‐namely, stored energy, peak power, and charging time‐thereby offering a ...

Intelligent Soft Opto‐Magnetic Robot for Minimally Invasive Interventional Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An intelligent soft opto‐magnetic (iSOM) robot is developed that integrates remote magnetic actuation, skin‐mimic tactile perception, and photothermal ablation in a near‐millimeter‐scale design. It enables precise intraluminal navigation and localized ablation while providing real‐time optical feedback to support safe and accurate minimally invasive ...

Endogenous Amplification of Apoptosis via p53 Regulation using a Cascade Nanocatalytic Medicine

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An engineered MOF nanomedicine (MAL) triggers cascade nanocatalysis in tumors, converting H2O2 and L‐Arg into cytotoxic peroxynitrite. This induces DNA damage, activates the p53 pathway, and amplifies mitochondrial apoptosis via the BAX/Bcl‐2/Caspase‐3 axis, effectively inhibiting colorectal cancer growth with high biocompatibility.

The Distributional Consequences of Supply-Side Reforms in General Equilibrium [PDF]

open access: yes
Using a heterogeneous agent model allowing for different degrees of complementarity between capital, skilled and unskilled labour, this paper evaluates supply-side reforms consistent with lower public debt-to-GDP in the long-run.

Beyond Traditional RAFT Polymerization: Emerging Strategies and Future Perspectives; A Third Update

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This review explores recent advances in the past five years for non‐traditional RAFT polymerization, focusing on new activation strategies, sustainable depolymerization, and integration with automated and AI‐driven synthesis. Together, these innovations advance polymer chemistry and reveal how the pieces of the non‐traditional RAFT puzzle are steadily ...

Thermal Cyclotrimerization Bridges Polymer‐Filler Interfaces for High‐Performance CO2 Separation Membranes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Thermal cyclotrimerization of nitriles converts interfacial discontinuity in MAF‐stu‐1/PIM‐1 MMMs into a continuity‐enhanced junction. Triazine–Zn2+ coordination between TR‐PIM chains and MAF‐stu‐1, together with hydrogen bonding and π–π stacking, lowers interfacial tension and builds selective CO2 pathways, enabling > 10 000 barrer CO2 permeability ...
