Paradigm shift? A critique of the IMF’s new approach to capital controls [PDF]
The global financial crisis forcefully highlighted the importance of developing mechanisms to curb the effects of large and volatile capital inflows on growth and financial stability in developing countries. It led the IMF to reconsider its long-standing

Single‐cell RNA analyses of paired lesions from CD30+ mycosis fungoides patients demonstrate that brentuximab vedotin (BV) induces immunogenic cell death in both CD30+ and CD30− malignant T cells. BV also targets regulatory T cells and remodels tumor microenvironment, while resistance is driven by impaired IFN responses, drug efflux, and BCL2 ...

Generating Dynamic Structures Through Physics‐Based Sampling of Predicted Inter‐Residue Geometries
While static structure prediction has been revolutionized, modeling protein dynamics remains elusive. trRosettaX2‐Dynamics is presented to address this challenge. This framework leverages a Transformer‐based network to predict inter‐residue geometric constraints, guiding conformation generation via physics‐based iterative sampling. The resulting method

Capital Controls and Foreign Investor Subsidies Implicit in South Africa's Dual Exchange Rate System [PDF]
Both in theory and practice, capital controls and dual exchange rate systems can be part of a country's optimal tax policy. We first show how a dual exchange rate system can be interpreted as a tax (or subsidy) on international capital income.

Bioenergy Cropping Reduces the Spatiotemporal Scaling of Soil Bacterial Biodiversity
Consistent with patterns observed in plant and animal communities, soil bacterial communities exhibit significant species–time–area and phylogenetic–time–area relationships independent of nested structure. Bioenergy cropping significantly reduces the spatiotemporal scaling rates, particularly in sandy loam soils.
