Direct Recycling of Mixed‐Oxide Cathodes: Balancing Cost, Performance and Environmental Trade‐Offs
Direct regeneration routes for mixed‐oxide lithium‐ion battery cathodes are systematically compared using harmonized techno‐economic, electrochemical, and environmental metrics. Solid‐state, hydrothermal, molten salt, electrochemical, and chemical relithiation methods are benchmarked to identify performance, cost, and sustainability trade‐offs.

Ce‐Doped Lignin‐Based Nanozyme with Heat‐Activated Hydrolase Activity
A novel Ce‐doped lignin‐based hydrolase nanozyme (Ce‐AL) is synthesized using Ce ions coordinated with aminated industrial lignin. The Ce‐AL effectively hydrolyzes phosphate ester bonds and protein amide bonds, maintain high activity at 100°C, and successfully fights bacteria biofilms.

Systematically Engineering for Efficient Production of 3‐Methyl‐1‐Butanol in Escherichia coli
An integrated metabolic engineering strategy was established for high‐level 3‐methyl‐1‐butanol biosynthesis in Escherichia coli. Molecular dynamics‐guided semi‐rational engineering of dihydroxyacid dehydratase uncovered and relieved key catalytic bottlenecks, while adaptive laboratory evolution enhanced strain robustness.

Thermal cyclotrimerization of nitriles converts interfacial discontinuity in MAF‐stu‐1/PIM‐1 MMMs into a continuity‐enhanced junction. Triazine–Zn2+ coordination between TR‐PIM chains and MAF‐stu‐1, together with hydrogen bonding and π–π stacking, lowers interfacial tension and builds selective CO2 pathways, enabling > 10 000 barrer CO2 permeability ...

The Housing Question under Capitalist Political Economies
AbstractThis short article is a reply to four commentaries that were written in response to our paper “Centering Housing in Political Economy”. Rather than discussing each of the commentaries separately, we have chosen to distil and discuss four themes that appear important both to the commentators and to us: theory and abstraction; land rent; mortgage
