Iduronate 2‐sulfatase (IDS; purple) is expressed as a precursor protein that goes through multiple steps of maturation, modification, and trafficking to become an active lysosomal enzyme that degrades glycosaminoglycans. Our study shows that the transmembrane ubiquitin ligases RNF13 (orange) and RNF167 (pink) heterodimerize, affecting IDS intracellular

RNF13 regulates the endolysosomal pathway through interaction with the small GTPase Arl8B
The E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF13 functions as a regulatory scaffold, organizing Arl8B‐dependent complexes and tuning downstream signaling that controls endolysosomal organization and trafficking. In this model, wild‐type RNF13 associates with Arl8B on endolysosomes, whereas Arl8B (E22D/F55A) or RNF13 (L244A) variants weaken complex assembly, potentially ...

Visual Memory and Identity: A Case Study of the Greek-Speaking Refugees from Sinasos, Anatolia
Within the context of the ‘visual turn’ images can no longer be considered as neutral artefactsbut as social constructs, closely connected with specific ‘regimes of truth’. As an integral partof ‘visual ideologies’, they function as ‘condensation symbols’

Subterranean environments contribute to three‐quarters of classified ecosystem services
ABSTRACT Beneath the Earth's surface lies a network of interconnected caves, voids, and systems of fissures forming in rocks of sedimentary, igneous, or metamorphic origin. Although largely inaccessible to humans, this hidden realm supports and regulates services critical to ecological health and human well‐being.

This study investigates a nonlinear Navier‐Stokes‐type model for elastic cylindrical vessels. Exact solutions are derived via the Bäcklund transformation and the ϕ6$$ {\phi}^6 $$‐expansion method, and dynamical behaviors are analyzed using bifurcation and chaos tools, revealing diverse wave structures and parameter‐dependent propagation characteristics.

Aspects of Iconography in Byzantine Cappadocia
The main novelty my article brings concerns a particular iconographic motif: that known as the ‘trial by the water of reproach’. In the few cases where this is rendered, usually only Mary is presented as undergoing this test, but in Cappadocian art Joseph is also subjected to it. Additionally, to this visual topic, another one that is rarely ...

Bizans’ta Atçılık ve At Figürünün Bizans Kapadokya’sı Duvar Resim Sanatına Yansımaları
Ayrıca, at imparatora, aristokrasiye,
