Odontogenic Sinusitis Causing Invasive Aspergillosis niger Infection With Para‐Meningeal Abscess

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 13, Issue 4, April 2025.
ABSTRACT Invasive aspergillosis is considered to occur in patients with neutropenia and cellular immunodeficiency, but co‐infection with bacterial infections due to odontogenic infections is rare but possible. Diagnosis relies on culture and tissue examination as sensitivity to serum galactomannan antigen is low due to immunocompetence.

Risk of gastric cancer in autoimmune gastritis and pernicious anaemia: Insights from Mendelian randomization and multi‐omics analysis

open access: yesClinical and Translational Discovery, Volume 5, Issue 2, April 2025.
Mendelian randomization supports a causal link between autoimmune gastritis (proxied by pernicious anemia) and gastric cancer. Autoimmune gastritis may promote gastric carcinogenesis via dysregulation of oncogenic pathways. Gastric cancer screening remains essential for autoimmune gastritis patients.

Extraction of terminal ileal lipomas to cecum can facilitate endoscopic resection: A case series with video

open access: yesDEN Open, Volume 5, Issue 1, April 2025.
