B cells sense external mechanical forces and convert them into biochemical signals through mechanotransduction. Understanding how malignant B cells respond to physical stimuli represents a groundbreaking area of research. This review examines the key mechano‐related molecules and pathways in B lymphocytes, highlights the most relevant techniques to ...

Flow of pH-responsive microcapsules in porous media [PDF]
This article investigates the use micro-capsules, containing a gelling agent hydroxypropyl cellulose (HPC), to alter flow paths in porous media. The aim is to preferentially block-off high permeability regions, thereby diverting the flow into adjacent un-

Most MmpLs transport lipids and glycolipids of the complex mycomembrane of mycobacteria. This study shows that MmpL10 from Mycobacterium smegmatis, the transporter of the trehalose polyphosphate precursor, harbors a coiled‐coil‐like extension. Biochemical and electron microscopy studies demonstrate that the coiled‐coil enables MmpL10 to trimerize.

Training Deep Capsule Networks with Residual Connections [PDF]
Capsule networks are a type of neural network that have recently gained increased popularity. They consist of groups of neurons, called capsules, which encode properties of objects or object parts. The connections between capsules encrypt part-whole relationships between objects through routing algorithms which route the output of capsules from lower ...

This paper deals with flow-induced shape transitions of elastic capsules. The state of the art concerning both theory and experiments is briefly reviewed starting with dynamically induced small deformation of initially spherical capsules and the ...

Light capsules shaped by curvilinear meta-surfaces [PDF]
We propose a simple yet efficient method for generating in-plane hollow beams with a nearly-full circular light shell without the contribution of backward propagating waves.

Multifunctional Capsule‐in‐Capsules for Immunoprotection and Trimodal Imaging [PDF]
Type I diabetes mellitus (T1DM) is a T-cell-mediated autoimmune disease that results in destruction of insulin-producing β cells and subsequent hyperglycemia.[1,2] The current way of treating T1DM is insulin replacement therapy through repetitive injections of recombinant insulin.

Subpar reporting of pre‐analytical variables in RNA‐focused blood plasma studies
Pre‐analytical variables strongly influence the analysis of extracellular RNA (cell‐free RNA; exRNA) derived from blood plasma. Their reporting is essential to allow interpretation and replication of results. By evaluating 200 exRNA studies, we pinpoint a lack of reporting pre‐analytical variables associated with blood collection, plasma preparation ...

3D Point Capsule Networks [PDF]
In this paper, we propose 3D point-capsule networks, an auto-encoder designed to process sparse 3D point clouds while preserving spatial arrangements of the input data.
