Color‐Contrast Adjustment With a 3D Head‐Up System to Aid Capsulorhexis After ICG Staining: Single‐Patient Case Report From a Tertiary Center

open access: yesCase Reports in Ophthalmological Medicine, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
We report a single case in which continuous curvilinear capsulorhexis (CCC) was safely completed using NGENUITY in 3D head‐up surgery (HUS) during cataract surgery. Visibility of the dye‐stained anterior capsule was improved during the CCC procedure.

Comparative study of outcome of capsulorhexis by assisted capsulorhexis device versus manual capsulorhexis in cataract surgery

open access: yesIndian Journal of Clinical and Experimental Ophthalmology, 2020
Cataract is the major cause of treatable blindness in India (62.6%). Quality cataract surgery is basic need of the cataract blind patient. Phacoemulsification and SICS are routine surgery performed for cataract in developing countries. Continuous Curvilinear Capsulorhexis is the most important pre-requisite for successful outcome of cataract surgery. To

Three‐Dimensional Heads‐Up Display System Versus Conventional Ophthalmic Surgical Microscope in Bilateral Cataract Surgery

open access: yesJournal of Ophthalmology, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Background The aim of this study was to compare the operation time and patient discomfort between a three‐dimensional heads‐up display system (HUDS) and a conventional ophthalmic surgical microscope (OSM) used in bilateral cataract surgery. Methods This retrospective study included 106 eyes from 53 patients who underwent immediate sequential bilateral ...

Bilateral phacoemulsification and toric extended depth of focus intraocular lens implantation in Alport's syndromes

open access: yesThe Pan-American Journal of Ophthalmology, 2020
Alport syndrome is a hereditary disorder characterized by sensorineural deafness, renal disease, and ocular abnormalities, including anterior lenticonus with high refractive errors. We report a case of Alport's syndrome with bilateral anterior lenticonus

Effect of Shallow Anterior Chamber on Postoperative Refractive Status in Patients of Age‐Related Cataract

open access: yesJournal of Ophthalmology, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Objective To assess how shallow anterior chamber depth (ACD) affects refractive error (RE) after cataract surgery and compare modern intraocular lens (IOL) formulas in patients with normal axial length. Methods This prospective study enrolled patients undergoing phacoemulsification with IOL implantation at Jinan No.

Incidence and risk factors of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment following paediatric cataract surgery: A systematic review and meta‐analysis

open access: yesActa Ophthalmologica, Volume 103, Issue 7, Page 764-775, November 2025.
Abstract To determine the incidence and identify risk factors of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment (RRD) following paediatric cataract surgery. This systematic review and meta‐analysis adhered to PRISMA guidelines and was registered in PROSPERO (CRD42024538383). A comprehensive search was conducted across multiple databases, including Cochrane CENTRAL,
