Detection of Radioactive Gas with Scintillating MOFs

Radioactive gas represents the hardest form of radioactivity to control and to handle, with no online and efficient detector on the market. An apporoach based on scintillating metal organic frameworks is reported, which is able to detect reliably and quickly the three main radioactive gases: 85Kr, 222Rn, 3H.
