Bucket cameras detected the highest species richness, live trapping provided the most precise species identifications, and airborne eDNA detected unique taxa.

Despite clear effects of maternal glucocorticoids on growth and social behaviour, social associations did not mitigate these effects, revealing limits to social buffering in this species.

Leukocyte profiles reveal sex and age differences in immune investment in a polygynous bat
Journal of Animal Ecology, EarlyView.Analysis of over 500 blood cell profiles, including repeat samples over four years, reveals that male bats from a long‐lived species with a polygynous mating system invest more in innate than adaptive immunity. Investment in innate immunity increases with age, as estimated by a DNA methylation clock and mark‐recapture data.
