Crystal structure of tris(diethyldithioby carbamato)iridium(III)

Crystals are monoclinic, space group C2/c, and isostructural with the cobalt(III) analogue: a= 14.071(5), b= 10.477(3), c= 16.980(5)A, β= 108.61 (2)°

Combinations of these complexes and MAO form catalysts for the synthesis of atactic polypropylene, as confirmed by FT-IR, DSC and 13C NMR analysis.
