Phase Separation of NFIB Suppresses SLC3A2‐Mediated Ferroptosis in Castration‐Resistant Prostate Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Castration‐resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) remains sensitive to ferroptosis, but its intrinsic resistance is poorly understood. Here, we identify NFIB as a master suppressor. SIRT7‐mediated NFIB acetylation drives its liquid–liquid phase separation, which promotes SLC3A2 transcription to inhibit ferroptosis.

A Nanoparticle‐Integrated Complete Manufacturing Pipeline of Chemically Engineered Exosomes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We report a novel manufacture technology of chemically engineered exosomes. The four steps of manufacturing, i.e., biogenesis, loading, isolation, and storage, are integrated by the use of a nanoparticle. The manufacture technology incorporates three innovative components, i.e., a new nano‐bio effect, a new composite nanoparticle, and a new isolation ...

Correlation between micro-hardness and mineral content in healthy human enamel [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Enamel is the hardest and the stiffest tissue in the human body. The enamel undergoes multidirectional stresses, withstands multimillion chewing cycles, all while protecting the internal dentin and pulp from damage due to mechanical overload and exposure

Mitochondrial CircRNA CircMT‐RNR2 Safeguards Antioxidant Defense to Support Fibroblast Functions in Wound Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
CircMT‐RNR2 promotes wound healing by enhancing fibroblast proliferation, migration, contraction, and extracellular matrix (ECM) production. It sustains mitochondrial redox balance by stabilizing the antioxidant protein PRDX3, thereby reducing ROS‐induced damage. In diabetic foot ulcers, hypoxia, hyperglycemia, and reduced FGF2 and EGF expression lower
