DNA strands are employed both as dynamic linkers and nanoscale templates for the integration of Ag2S nanoparticles on MoS2, which in turn imparted photothermal responsiveness; this feature permits the selective cargo (fluorophore, quantum dots or an enzyme) release from the MoS2 surface in response to local heat induced by light irradiation.

Nitrogen-15 nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Carbodiimides [PDF]
High-resolution, 18.25-MHz nitrogen-15 NMR spectra of several carbodiimides (1) have been obtained at the natural-abundance level. The high-field positions of the ^(15)N resonances of these substances are discussed in terms of two different shielding ...

Carbodiimides as catalysts for the reduction of CO2 with boranes
Carbodiimides catalyse the reduction of CO2 with H-BBN and BH3·SMe2 under mild conditions to give mainly boron methoxide derivatives.

We propose a suture‐complementary approach that integrates optical skin clearing with a strain‐programmable luminescent adhesive patch. Hyaluronic acid promotes transdermal delivery of tartrazine to improve optical clearing and stabilizes its interaction with a photosensitizer. Optical clearing increases the penetration depth of visible light into skin,

Unveiling the quaternary carbodiimide symphony: harmonizing green chemistry in peptide synthesis
Although N-ethyl-N’-(3-dimethylaminopropyl) carbodiimide hydrochloride (EDC.HCl) is a common reagent in peptide synthesis, it presents two drawbacks. First of all, it is in a tautomerism equilibrium with cyclic form that it is not productive.

Multiplex Modular Nanorobotic Systems with Catalytic Activity under Magnetic Navigation
We present modular nanorobots composed of a magnetic propulsion module and different extension modules carrying functional activities, assembled via DNA base pairing. The system integrates propulsion, optical tracking, enzymatic catalysis, and cell docking in a programmable manner.

Coagulative granular hydrogels are composed of packed thrombin‐functionalized microgels that catalyze the conversion of fibrinogen into a secondary fibrin network, filling the interstitial voids. This bio‐inspired approach stabilizes the biomaterial to match the robustness of bulk hydrogels without compromising injectability, mimicking the initial ...
