Transducers convert physical signals into electrical and optical representations, yet each mechanism is bounded by intrinsic trade‐offs across bandwidth, sensitivity, speed, and energy. This review maps transduction mechanisms across physical scale and frequency, showing how heterogeneous integration and multiphysics co‐design transform isolated ...

Dynamic nonlinear CO2 emission effects of urbanization routes in the eight most populous countries.
A dynamic STIRPAT model used in the current study is based on panel data from the eight most populous countries from 1975 to 2020, revealing the nonlinear effects of urbanization routes (percentage of total urbanization, percentage of small cities and ...

Internal Validity of Estimating the Carbon Kuznets Curve by Controlling for Energy Use [PDF]
The carbon Kuznetz curve (CKC) hypothesis assumes that carbon dioxide emissions initially increase in tandem with output but start decreasing at higher levels of output.

Degradation Mechanisms in PEM Water Electrolysis: Diagnosis and Impact
This review provides an analysis of degradation mechanisms in proton electrolyte membrane water electrolyzers (PEMWE), focusing on all key components. It discusses diagnostic and measurement techniques for evaluating degradation, less‐studied mechanisms, and an expert survey.

PREDICTING THE AMOUNT OF POLLUTANTS EMITTED OF WOOD BURNED FOR FISH SMOKING [PDF]
The process of smoking fish uses heat resulting from burning biomass fuel, which is a source of greenhouse gas emissions. There are many ovens that use electricity and firewood as a source for energy.

Progress in reaction mechanisms and catalyst development of carbon dioxide methanation
The overuse of fossil fuels has created a dual challenge for humanity, namely energy and environmental concerns. Excessive carbon emissions have resulted in a range of global climate issues.

Greenhouse gas emissions from croplands of China [PDF]
China possesses cropland of 1.33 million km 2. Cultivation of the cropland not only altered the biogeochemical cycles of carbon (C) and nitrogen (N) in the agroecosystems but also affected global climate.

Laser‐assisted synthesis enables rapid (within 1 h) and high‐yield (≥90%) production of Co‐MOFs with mesoporous structures, tunable magnetic and optical properties, and efficient adsorption of N2, CH4, and CO2 for low‐energy gas separation. DFT calculations elucidate the electronic structure and adsorption behavior.

Emission-Photosynthesis Imbalance and Climate Change:Forest Land under Intensified Uncertainty and Expected Utility Maximization [PDF]
This paper introduces photosynthesis into the motion-equation of the atmospheric stock of carbon-dioxide as a counterpart endogenous factor to emissions of this principal greenhouse gas from lands occupied by humans.
