Simplified Apparatus for Insufflation of the Tubes with Carbon Dioxide
American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, 1946Summary A simple apparatus for the insufflation of the Fallopian tubes is described. Carbon dioxide for the test is generated, thus eliminating the need for tanks or other source for the gas.

Risk of contamination from laparoscopic carbon dioxide insufflators.
Journal of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, 1997Ten high flow laparoscopic carbon dioxides insufflators were examined to determine whether there was significant particulate or bacterial contamination of the gas delivered to patients. The gas delivery tubing and connections in the insufflators were also examined for the presence of bacterial colonization and for evidence of retrograde passage of body
