Co-reductive fabrication of carbon nanodots with high quantum yield for bioimaging of bacteria [PDF]
A simple and straightforward synthetic approach for carbon nanodots (C-dots) is proposed. The strategy is based on a one-step hydrothermal chemical reduction with thiourea and urea, leading to high quantum yield C-dots.

ErB4 and NdB4 nanostructured powders are produced by mechanochemical synthesis. 5 h mechanical alloying and 4 M HCl acid leaching are used in the production. ErB4 and NdB4 powders exhibit maximum magnetization of 0.4726 emu g−1 accompanied with an antiferromagnetic‐to‐paramagnetic phase transition at about TN = 18 K and 0.132 emu g−1 with a maximum at ...

A Simple Hydrothermal Synthesis of Luminescent Carbon Quantum Dots from Different Molecular Precursors [PDF]
In this work, highly photoluminescent C-dots have been synthesised from different precursors such as sucrose, ascorbic acid, citric acid and their combinations under similar conditions to that of recently reported synthesis of C-dots from orange juice. The

Mesoporous bioactive glass nanoparticles (MBGNs) are investigated for bone regeneration given their remarkable structural and functional properties. MBGNs are functionalized with Mn and Cu and incorporated with quercetin, a natural flavonoid exhibiting antioxidant, anti‐inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties.
