Bioresorbable and Wireless Rechargeable Implanted Na‐ion Battery for Temporary Medical Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An all‐solid‐state bioresorbable Na‐ion battery is developed, composed entirely of bio‐eliminable materials. In vivo and ex vivo tests confirmed harmless disintegration of this implanted battery. Lifetime of the implanted battery can be precisely controlled by adjusting the dissolvable encapsulation layer's thickness.

Study on the mechanical properties of C/C composites reinforced by different types of carbon fibers

open access: yesJournal of Materials Research and Technology, 2023
With the aim of selecting suitable carbon fibers as reinforcement material for carbon/carbon composites, needled carbon fiber felt preforms are fabricated by T300 carbon fibers and TZ300 carbon fibers as raw material respectively.

Pilot–Scale Production of Carbon Hollow Fiber Membranes from Regenerated Cellulose Precursor-Part II: Carbonization Procedure

open access: yesMembranes, 2018
The simultaneous carbonization of thousands of fibers in a horizontal furnace may result in fused fibers if carbonization residuals (tars) are not removed fast enough. The optimized purge gas flow rate and a small degree angle in the furnace position may

Characterisation of pulsed Carbon fiber illuminators for FIR instrument calibration [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2007
We manufactured pulsed illuminators emitting in the far infrared for the Planck-HFI bolometric instrument ground calibrations. Specific measurements have been conducted on these light sources, based on Carbon fibers, to understand and predict their properties.
