The use of carbon fibres in radiotherapy
Radiotherapy and Oncology, 1991In this paper we discuss some of the properties of carbon fibres. Use can be made of this strong, rigid and light material for applications during radiotherapy. Some processing methods and a short description of some accessories made of carbon fibre, which are in clinical use in our department, are given.
