Silicon Nitride – Carbon Nanotube Composites
Materials Science Forum, 2007Multiwall carbon nanotube reinforced silicon nitride composites have been prepared by hot isostatic pressing. A manufacturing process has been worked out to avoid the damage of nanotubes during sintering. This method provides their preservation even in severe circumstances at temperature 1700°C and gas pressure 20 MPa.

Magnetron sputtered carbon nitride films
Surface and Coatings Technology, 1994Abstract Carbon nitride (CN x ) thin film deposition was undertaken in a closed-field, unbalanced magnetron system. Reactive deposition utilised a graphite target in an argon/nitrogen plasma. The main deposition parameters investigated were magnetron current, total gas pressure and nitrogen gas partial pressure.
