Determination of carbidic carbon in steels

Talanta, 1999
An attempt has been made to develop a simple analytical technique that can readily be used in an industrial laboratory to isolate and quantify the precipitated carbides in steel samples. Attempt has also been made to correlate this value with the thermodynamically predicted values. There is good agreement between the predicted and experimental results.
