The Optimal Path of Energy and CO2 Taxes for Intertemporal Resource Allocation [PDF]
The purpose of this paper is to extend the dynamic resource allocation problem by including stock externalities like accumulated CO2 and SO2 emissions as well as flow externalities like waste of energy or pollutants which can be abated (SO2).

Mixed‐Polymer Hole Transport Layers Reinforce Au‐Anode Top Emitting Perovskite Light Emitting Diodes
Au‐anode corrosion is shown to occur rapidly under voltage bias in MAPbI3 perovskite LEDs. Resulting Au+ migration quickly leads to device shorting and unstable emission during constant current driving. We demonstrate that using a simple mixed‐polymer hole transport layer containing polyTPD and PVK can reduce Au‐corrosion and stabilize LED operation ...

Electrolyte Design for Simultaneous Interfacial Stabilization in Si||NCM811 Full Cells
A dual‐additive electrolyte (DAEL) system was optimized to regulate interfacial reactions in both Si anode and the NCM811 cathode. DAEL suppresses gas evolution and degradation, enabling stable interphases. These synergistic effects enhance electrochemical stability and extend battery cycle life in high‐energy lithium‐ion cells.

Multi‐Targeting Carnosic Acid Kills Drug‐Resistant Helicobacter pylori With Narrow‐Spectrum Activity
Carnosic acid selectively eradicates drug‐resistant Helicobacter pylori through a multi‐targeted mechanism involving urease inhibition, membrane disruption, and biofilm eradication. It exhibits no detectable resistance, potent in vivo efficacy, and minimal impact on gut microbiota, positioning it as a promising narrow‐spectrum lead compound against ...

The Design of a Carbon Tax [PDF]
We consider the design of a tax on greenhouse gas emissions for a developed country such as the United States. We consider three sets of issues: the optimal tax base, issues relating to the rate (including the use of the revenues and rate changes over ...
