The Carbonatation of Anhydrite: Kinetics and Reaction Pathways
ACS Earth and Space Chemistry, 2017A textural and kinetic investigation of the carbonatation of anhydrite in the presence of carbonate- and bicarbonate-bearing solutions under static conditions was conducted. The replacement occurs via a coupled dissolution–precipitation mechanism. Textural and kinetic evidence indicates that the rate-limiting step in the replacement reaction was the ...

Characterization of Adsorption and Degradation of Diuron in Carbonatic and Noncarbonatic Soils
Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, 2010The adsorption and degradation of the pesticide diuron in carbonatic and noncarbonatic soils were investigated to better understand the fate and transport of diuron in the environment. Batch adsorption experiments yielded isotherms that were well-described by the linear model.

Carbonatation precipitate – origin, separation and uses
Sugar Industry, 2015Managers and researchers are looking for new systems with minimum consumption of lime e.g. ultrafiltration. Nevertheless liming and carbonatation are still an important part of juice purification in the sugar industry. The complex process is influenced by many parameters such as lime addition, polysaccharides content and their composition, temperature,
