Effect of Graphene Carbon Nitride on Ultraviolet-Curing Coatings [PDF]
Graphene carbon nitride (g-C3N4) was successfully prepared by semi-closed pyrolysis and then incorporated into the ultraviolet (UV)-curing system to synthesize different specimens of g-C3N4-hybridized UV-curing (g-C3N4/UV) coatings. The apparent appearance and dispersity g-C3N4 were characterized through X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron ...

Curing of Polyfunctional Spiro Ortho Esters by Carbon Black [PDF]
The crosslinking reaction of polyfunctional spiro ortho esters (SOE) i.e., polymers (resins) that bear SOE structure, by carbon black was investigated. The copolymers of 2-methylene-1,4,6-trioxaspiro[4.6]undecane with vinyl monomers were crosslinked in solution upon heating (150°C) together with carbon black to give gels.

Enhancing Low‐Temperature Performance of Sodium‐Ion Batteries via Anion‐Solvent Interactions
DOL is introduced into electrolytes as a co‐solvent, increasing slat solubility, ion conductivity, and the de‐solvent process, and forming an anion‐rich solvent shell due to its high interaction with anion. With the above virtues, the batteries using this electrolyte exhibit excellent cycling stability at low temperatures. Abstract Sodium‐ion batteries

Effect of Different CO2 Treatments on the Metal Leaching in Steel Slag Binders
Carbonation is an effective method to promote the quality of the steel slag binder. In this article, two carbonation approaches, namely hot-stage carbonation and accelerated carbonation, were employed to leach the metals, and the influence mechanism on ...

Polarizable Vanadium Dipoles Promote Water Dissociation on Vanadium‐Based Metal Organic Framework
The polarization of unpaired V 3d electrons weakens the H─O bond to improve water dissociation by the dual Vδ+:O─H and Pλ−:H─O coupling hydrogen bonds formation and relaxation. P@V‐MOF electrocatalyst shows low overpotentials (94 mV in acid, 178 mV in neutral, and 77 mV in alkaline solutions) with excellent stability for effective overall water ...

We propose a suture‐complementary approach that integrates optical skin clearing with a strain‐programmable luminescent adhesive patch. Hyaluronic acid promotes transdermal delivery of tartrazine to improve optical clearing and stabilizes its interaction with a photosensitizer. Optical clearing increases the penetration depth of visible light into skin,
