Bone Organoids: A Novel Tool for Modeling and Managing Skeletal Disorders in Diabetes
This review synthesizes advances in bone organoid engineering and evaluates their potential to model diabetic bone fragility. Current in vitro and animal models do not fully recapitulate diabetes‐associated skeletal phenotypes. Cell‐based and scaffold‐based bone organoids are discussed as complementary approaches to reconstruct multicellular bone ...

A Lewis pair site design strategy was established to construct Cu‐doped Mn‐based amorphous nanozymes, where Mn and oxygen vacancies generate cooperative acid‐base pairs. The resulting multinanozyme integrates glycosidase‐, oxidase‐, and cold‐adapted enzyme‐mimicking activities, enabling cooperative depolymerization of cellulose and hemicellulose ...

DADA Enhances CD8+ T Cell Stemness to Improve Anti‐Tumor Immunity and Immunotherapy Efficacy
Diisopropylamine dichloroacetate (DADA) enhances CD8+ T cell stemness by improving OXPHOS and mitochondrial fitness in a PDK1‐depenpendent manner. This metabolic shift strengthens CD8+ T cell anti‐tumor immunity, improves responses to PD‐1 blockade, and endows CAR‐T cells with prolonged persistence and resistance to terminal exhaustion, highlighting a ...

A Metal‐Free Carbon Monoxide Prodrug Suppresses Metastasis of Pancreatic and Breast Cancer
A metal‐free carbon monoxide (CO) prodrug, CO‐116, delivers controlled systemic CO without inhalation. CO suppresses the HRG1–heme axis, reducing intracellular heme availability. Attenuation of this pathway inhibits metastatic progression in pancreatic and triple‐negative breast cancer models.

The engineered TF‐Fe@LC nanoplatform programs paraptotic death via multipath ROS amplification that disrupts redox homeostasis, provoking mitochondrial dysfunction, autophagic blockade, and ER stress. This caspase‐independent process elicits robust immunogenic cell death, combining with αPD‐L1 to activate systemic CD8+ T‐cell immunity and suppress ...

Additions to carbonyl compounds
ChemInform, 1991Publisher Summary This chapter reviews the enantioselective methods of chiral alcohols and mines, based on nucleophilic additions to aldehydes and ketones, imines, hydrazones, oximes, and nitrones. The three distinct strategies for the stereo selective generation of the new sp3 have been adopted and discussed in the chapter.

Electrophilic Trifluoromethylthiolation of Carbonyl Compounds
Chemistry – A European Journal, 2014AbstractA general method for the α‐trifluoromethylthiolation of carbonyl compounds, without prefunctionalization, has been developed. Aldehydes, ketones, esters, amides, keto‐esters, alkaloids, and steroids have been trifluoromethylthiolated with good yields.
