Embryonal Carcinoma

JAMA, 1974
SUDDEN death occurring in young adults is rare. Luke and Helpern 1 reviewed 275 consecutive cases of sudden death in patients between the ages of 28 and 44 years and found that of these deaths, 38% were caused by coronary arterial atherosclerosis, 26% by fulminant untreated infectious diseases, and 4% by pulmonary arterial emboli.

Lectin histochemistry of embryonal carcinoma

APMIS, 1991
Histological tissue sections of human testicular embryonal carcinoma from 13 patients and of a xenograft tumour in nude mice, as well as cell lines of human embryonal carcinoma, were investigated with eight different lectins to characterize the distribution of glycoconjugates in embryonal carcinoma.

Childhood embryonal carcinoma of testes

Urology, 1978
Aggressive combined therapy for pediatric embryonal carcinoma of the testis appears to be warranted. The use of cycled chemotherapy has a place in treatment of this disease even in patients with a negative lymphadenectomy.

Infantile Embryonal Carcinoma of Testis

Journal of Urology, 1982
Between 1968 and 1979 we treated 19 patients with infantile embryonal carcinoma of the testis. All 10 patients treated with orchiectomy plus chemotherapy (methotrexate, actinomycin D and cyclophosphamide) are well with no evidence of disease, whereas 2 of 4 who underwent orchiectomy alone and 2 of 5 treated with orchiectomy plus lymphadenectomy are ...

Embryonal carcinoma of the testis

Cancer, 1988

In the period 1977 to 1982 embryonal carcinoma accounted for 26.8% of newly diagnosed germ cell tumors and 43% of nonseminomatous ...

Intracranial embryonal carcinoma and precocious puberty

Journal of Paediatrics and Child Health, 1987
AbstractA boy aged 7.5 years presented with precocious onset of secondary sexual characteristics and symptoms and signs of neurological dysfunction. A CT brain scan demonstrated a suprasellar mass lesion. The elevated β‐hCG and α‐fetoprotein concentrations in cerebrospinal fluid and in serum were consistent with a diagnosis of intracranial embryonal ...
