European Archives of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology, 1990Two cases of mucoepidermoid carcinoma (MEC) of the larynx are reported. The peculiarities of both cases are emphasized, in particular the site of involvement and the young age of the former and the histological subtype ("clear cell" variant) of the latter.

Histopathology, 1984Clinical and morphological features of three cases of primary mucoepidermoid carcinoma of the thyroid are described. The tumours were composed of two cell types. One of these resembled squamous epithelium and ultrastructurally showed tonofilaments and numerous desmosomes.

Acta Pathologica Japonica, 1984An autopsy case of mucoepidermoid carcinoma of the liver associated with congenital cysts in a 78‐year old man was reported. The liver weighed 1,900 g, and there was a massive tumor of 11 × 10 × 6.5 cm in the left lobe with multiple sero‐mucinous cysts.
