Telomere loss limits the rate of human epithelial tumor formation [PDF]
Most human carcinomas exhibit telomere abnormalities early in the carcinogenesis process suggesting that crisis caused by telomere shortening may be a necessary event leading to human carcinomas. Epidemiological records of the age at which each patient in a population develops carcinoma are known as age-incidence data; these provide a quantitative ...

RCdpia: A Renal Carcinoma Digital Pathology Image Annotation dataset based on pathologists [PDF]
The annotation of digital pathological slide data for renal cell carcinoma is of paramount importance for correct diagnosis of artificial intelligence models due to the heterogeneous nature of the tumor. This process not only facilitates a deeper understanding of renal cell cancer heterogeneity but also aims to minimize noise in the data for more ...

Emerging Technologies for Timely Point‐of‐Care Diagnostics of Skin Cancer
With the global incidence of skin cancer on the rise and a persistent lack of rapid, noninvasive and sensitive point‐of‐care diagnostic platforms, current and emerging technologies are critically reviewed. Among these, the emerging Raman spectroscopy system is identified as a promising complementary to conventional costly and invasive methods, offering

Abstract Introduction The ability of ablative fractional lasers (AFL) to enhance topical drug uptake is well established. After AFL delivery, however, drug clearance by local vasculature is poorly understood. Modifications in vascular clearance may enhance AFL‐assisted drug concentrations and prolong drug dwell time in the skin.
