Epidermoid Carcinoma of the Palate
Archives of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, 1978A retrospective study was made of 80 cases of epidermoid carcinoma of the palate that were treated at the UCLA Center for the Health Sciences between 1955 and 1977. Tumor size larger than 3 cm, extension to neighboring structures, and contralateral, bilateral, and "fixed" lymph node metastases substantially decreased survival.

Journal of Surgical Oncology, 1979AbstractTwo patients with squamous cell carcinoma of the breast are described. In one patient the lesion represented a primary breast tumor; in the second, a metastases from primary bronchogenic carcinoma. Neither lesion possessed estrogen receptor protein.

Epidermoid carcinoma of the palate
The American Journal of Surgery, 1970Abstract From 1939 through 1960, 422 patients with epidermoid carcinoma of the palate were observed at Memorial Hospital. One hundred twenty-three lesions originated on the hard palate and 299 on the soft palate. Ninety per cent of these patients (381) were treated for cure.

Epidermoid carcinoma of the palate
The American Journal of Surgery, 1981A retrospective review of a consecutive series of 293 patients with epidermoid carcinoma of the hard and soft palate is presented. A majority of the patients had primary tumors larger than 2 cm at the time of initial diagnosis. Surgery was the initial treatment employed in most patients.

Subungual epidermoid carcinoma
Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, 1984Subungual Bowen's disease and squamous cell carcinoma are not as rare as has been implied by earlier literature. The course of the lesions is protracted. Clinically the diseases may mimic onychomycosis, chronic paronychia, eczema, verruca vulgaris, pyogenic granuloma, subungual exostosis, or malignant melanoma.

Epidermoid carcinoma of the skin of the nose
The American Journal of Surgery, 1968Abstract A thirty-eight year review of the records at Memorial Hospital Center disclosed 114 patients treated for epidermoid carcinoma of the skin of the nose. These patients were all white, and there were slightly more men than women. More than 80 per cent of the patients were forty years of age or older.
