Laser‐Patterned Diamond Electrodes for Adhesion and Proliferation of Human Mesenchymal Stem Cells

Laser patterning is used to create diamond electrodes on insulating diamond substrates. The process yields conductive surfaces with high capacitance, wide water windows, and low impedance. The electrode‐enhancing human mesenchymal stem cell adhesion and growth are nontoxic and promote cell alignment.

Ultrathin Self‐Assembled and Surface‐Attached Hydrogel Coating on Titanium for Potential Nanogluing of Implants

A self‐assembling and surface‐attached hydrogel coating was developed for titanium, combining phosphonate anchoring and phenyl azide crosslinking. The ultrathin, swellable films show long‐term stability, biocompatibility, and strong nanoparticle immobilization.
