Double Outlet Right Ventricle: A Rare Finding in a 15‐Month‐Old Female With Failure to Thrive
Double outlet right ventricle (DORV) is a rare congenital heart defect where both the aorta and pulmonary artery originate from the right ventricle, often accompanied by additional cardiac anomalies to mitigate circulatory imbalance, though such ...

Prognostic value of cardiac hybrid imaging integrating single-photon emission computed tomography with coronary computed tomography angiography [PDF]
Aims Although cardiac hybrid imaging, fusing single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) myocardial perfusion imaging with coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA), provides important complementary diagnostic information for coronary artery disease (CAD) assessment, no prognostic data exist on the predictive value of cardiac hybrid ...

Abstract Aims Mortality in cardiogenic shock (CS) remains elevated, with the potential for CS causes to impact prognosis and risk stratification. The aim was to investigate in‐hospital prognosis and mortality in CS patients according to aetiology. We also assessed the prognostic accuracy of CardShock and IABP‐SHOCK II scores.

Quality of Life After Surgical Treatment of Head and Neck Paragangliomas
ABSTRACT Background Head and neck paragangliomas (HNPGLs) are rare neuroendocrine tumors and often arise in the head and neck. Due to their localization, the tumor and its surgical treatment pose a risk for cranial nerve impairments. Few studies have focused on the health‐related quality of life (HRQOL) in patients with HNPGLs and their relation to ...

Exploring a Novel Conv‐Transformer Network for Multi‐Modality Heart Segmentation
We propose SFAM‐TransUnet for multimodality whole heart segmentation, a novel deep learning framework combining CNNs and transformers. Extensive experiments conducted on the clinical Multi‐Modality Whole Heart Segmentation datasets demonstrate that SFAM‐TransUnet outperforms various alternative methods.

We detect the risk factors and image characteristics of incidentally detected IAAD. Independent risk factors of IAAD included fatty liver and smoking. In the ultrasound findings of IAAD, an intimal flap was frequently observed. In the CT scan, displacement of intimal calcifications was frequently observed. For suspected IAAD, the abdominal aorta should
