The Role of Cardiac Magnetic Resonance in mRNA COVID-19 Vaccine-Related Myopericarditis: An Evolutive Case Series

open access: yesJournal of Cardiovascular Development and Disease
Numerous cases of myocarditis related to mRNA vaccines for COVID-19 have recently been described, usually in young men. Long-term evolutive cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMR) data are lacking.

A Novel FGFR3‐Targeting Antibody‐Drug Conjugate Induces Tumor Cell Apoptosis through the cGAS–STING Pathway in Bladder Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
LZU‐WZLYCS01 is a novel FGFR3‐targeting ADC for bladder cancer with 7‐ethyl‐9‐fluorocamptothecin (A2) as its cytotoxic payload. LZU‐WZLYCS01 intracellularly releases A2, which targets MAD2L1 to activate the cGAS‐STING pathway and induce tumor cell apoptosis.

Inhibition of Macrophage ARID3A Alleviates Myocardial Ischemia‐Reperfusion Injury After Heart Transplantation by Reducing THBS1/CD47 Signaling‐Mediated Neutrophil Extracellular Traps Formation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals that ARID3A in macrophages can transcriptionally regulate the THBS1‐CD47 axis after heart transplantation (HT), thereby inducing activated neutrophils to release NETs through the p38 MAPK signaling pathway. The itaconate derivative 4‐OI can inhibit ARID3A in macrophages and promote the accumulation of antioxidant factors, thereby ...

PDGFRα+DPP4+ Fibroblasts‐Macrophage Crosstalk Induces Orbital Fibrosis in Treatment‐Resistant Thyroid Eye Disease via the GAS6‐AXL Pathway

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study elucidates macrophage‐induced orbital fibrosis in TED via the GAS6‐AXL pathway, a treatment‐resistant disorder lacking non‐surgical therapies. Using a novel patient cell‐derived orthotopic animal model of orbital fibrosis for TED, we repurpose an existing fibrosis therapy, addressing the absence of stable models and offering a potential ...
