Magnetic resonance imaging findings in cardiac lipoma.
Cardiac lipomas are exceedingly rare benign tumors of the heart. They are usually asymptomatic. Occasionally, they are found on MRI as an incidental finding. We report a case of a 68-year-old woman who presented with shortness of breath. Transoesophageal

A schematic illustration of how noble metals can be used to create nanoparticles (NPs) or nanoclusters (NCs). Noble metal NPs, due to their plasmonic properties, enable photothermal therapy and surface‐enhanced Raman scattering (SERS). In contrast, NCs, which lack a plasmonic resonance band, exhibit fluorescence, making them ideal for bioimaging ...

Microbubble Shell Stiffness Engineering Enhances Ultrasound Imaging, Drug Delivery, and Sonoporation
Shell‐engineered poly(alkyl cyanoacrylate) microbubbles with tunable stiffness improve ultrasound imaging and therapy. Adjusting the length of the alkyl chain and the glass transition temperature maintains a narrow microbubble size distribution while enhancing drug loading, sonoporation and the acoustic response.
