Non‐Endocardial Radiofrequency Ablation of Premature Ventricular Complexes (NERA‐PVC): Safety, Efficacy and Outcome

open access: yesJournal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology, Volume 36, Issue 12, Page 3126-3135, December 2025.
Non‐endocardial radiofrequency ablation of PVCs is a safe and effective procedure, even with the use of high power and/or long duration RF application. Clinicians should consider this approach in case of LV summit and/or ASV PVCs, although long‐term follow‐up is still characterized by a relatively high recurrence rate.

Prognostic Value of Antiarrhythmic Drug Suppression of Electrical Storm Prior to Ventricular Tachycardia Ablation

open access: yesJournal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology, Volume 36, Issue 12, Page 3310-3320, December 2025.
Kaplan Meir survival curves comparing the elective and urgent groups from time of ablation. Top Left: Long‐term survival. Top Right: VT‐free survival. Bottom Left: ES‐free survival. Bottom Right: Repeat ablation‐free survival. Long term survival was significantly improved in the elective group.

Predictive Value of Left Atrial Strain for Atrial High‐Rate Episodes in Patients With Permanent Cardiac Pacing

open access: yesJournal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology, Volume 36, Issue 12, Page 3343-3352, December 2025.
ABSTRACT Background Atrial high‐rate episodes (AHREs) detected by cardiac implantable electronic devices are associated with a higher risk of developing subsequent atrial fibrillation. Thus, risk stratification for AHREs is essential to guide patient management and improve outcome.

Techniques for Transvenous Lead Extraction of Cardiac Implantable Electronic Devices: A Network Meta‐Analysis

open access: yesPacing and Clinical Electrophysiology, Volume 48, Issue 12, Page 1373-1383, December 2025.
ABSTRACT Background Transvenous lead extraction (TLE) is procedurally complex and carries significant risk. Evidence on optimal TLE techniques is limited and lacks comparative studies. Methods PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science were searched through November 27, 2024.
