A Tick of the Clock: Finding the Sweet Spot in Tilt Table Test. The Effectiveness of Short‐Duration Head‐Up Tilt Test as a Diagnostic Tool in Suspected Vasovagal Patients: A Retrospective Observational Study in a Tertiary Syncope Unit

open access: yesJournal of Arrhythmia, Volume 41, Issue 5, October 2025.
In patients with suspected vasovagal syncope, a 15‐min head‐up tilt test protocol yielded similar diagnostic results to the conventional 20‐min protocol. This shorter approach may improve patient comfort and syncope unit efficiency without compromising diagnostic accuracy.

Precision in Action: Using Intracardiac Echocardiography for Targeted Removal of a Large Lead‐Related Vegetation in a Patient With Infective Endocarditis

open access: yesJournal of Arrhythmia, Volume 41, Issue 5, October 2025.
Lead‐related infective endocarditis (LRIE) with large vegetations represents a common and challenging complication in patients with implantable cardioverter‐defibrillators who are not surgical candidates due to the high prevalence of comorbid conditions.

The Efficacy of 2‐Week Holter Monitoring for Detecting Atrial Tachyarrhythmia Recurrence After Initial Ablation in Patients With Atrial Fibrillation

open access: yesJournal of Arrhythmia, Volume 41, Issue 5, October 2025.
Two‐week Holter monitoring improves the detection rate and reduces underdiagnosis of atrial tachyarrhythmia recurrence after AF ablation, compared to 24‐h Holter monitoring. ABSTRACT Background Holter monitoring is widely used to detect atrial tachyarrhythmia (AT) recurrence after catheter ablation (CA) in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF ...

Prospective Multicenter Registry to Investigate the Clinical Feasibility of Combination Workflow With 90 W/4 s and Ablation Index‐Guided 50 W Ablation (PRECISE—COMBO 90 W/50 W Study)

open access: yesJournal of Arrhythmia, Volume 41, Issue 5, October 2025.
This multicenter registry evaluated a 90 W/50 W combination workflow for pulmonary vein isolation (PVI) in 101 patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation. First‐pass PVI was achieved in 74.3% of right and 72.3% of left PVs. The 1‐year atrial tachyarrhythmia recurrence‐free survival was favorable at 89.9%, suggesting this strategy is a clinically ...
