A Biomimetic Solvatochromic Chip With Optimized Chemical Diversity for On‐Site Liquid Identification

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A compact biomimetic photonic‐gustatory chip uses Hansen‐solubility‐parameter‐guided solvatochromic disks to create distinct color patterns in organic liquids. An optimized four‐disk array distinguishes solvent types, ratios, homologues, isomers, and alcoholic beverages. Coupled with smartphone imaging and deep learning, it identifies 80 liquid classes

Intratumoral Fusogenic Outer Membrane Vesicles Enhance Antitumor Immunity Through Tumor MHC‐I Upregulation and Tumor Bacterization

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Tumor bacterization by fusogenic outer membrane vesicles enhances microbial‐like recognition of tumor cells while activating the TLR4–NF‐κB–NLRC5 axis to upregulate MHC class I expression. By simultaneously strengthening APC sensing and T‐cell recognition, this strategy breaks tumor immune invisibility and promotes more effective antitumor immune ...

Accelerated Discovery of Earth‐Abundant Oxygen Evolution Catalysts Through Surface‐Informed Active Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A surface‐informed active learning framework integrated with density functional theory enables resource efficient screening of the NiCoFe ternary composition space. Experimental validation identifies Ni55Co10Fe35 as the optimal composition, exhibiting favorable oxygen evolution reaction kinetics.

A Fish MDA5 Integrates Canonical RIG‐I and MDA5 Ligand Recognition

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
These results show that the large yellow croaker lacks RIG‐I, yet its MDA5 senses both 5′ppp‐dsRNA and long dsRNA. A flexible RNA‐capping loop in the MDA5 C‐terminal domain enables two ligand‐binding modes. This dual recognition signals through MAVS–STING–TBK1/IRF3 and induces type I interferons, revealing unexpected plasticity in vertebrate antiviral ...

Probe‐Free, Primer‐Programmed Amplicon Encoding Enables Nanopore‐Based Multiplex Detection With Deep Learning Decoding

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Primer‐programmed amplicon encoding enables reporter‐probe‐free multiplex nucleic acid identification using glass nanopore sensing and deep neural network decoding. ABSTRACT Single‐reaction multiplex nucleic acid testing (NATs) must both co‐amplify multiple targets and distinguish the resulting amplicons within the product mixture.
