Background Cardiotocography is almost ubiquitous in its use in intrapartum care. Although it has been demonstrated that there is some benefit from continuous intrapartum fetal monitoring using cardiotocography, there is also an increased risk of ...

Modern principles of cardiotocography in childbirth
Cardiotocography (CTG) is the main method of assessment of the fetus, which due to its informativeness and stability of the information obtained has almost completely replaced the phonoand electrocardiography of the fetus from the clinical practice.

Contraction frequency and acidemia at birth: A case–control study
This case–control study shows an association by exposure level between contraction frequency during the final hour before birth and fetal acidemia. Effect sizes are similar regardless of oxytocin use. Contraction frequencies above both the conventional and revised thresholds are common, indicating poor positive predictive value.

Bibliometric Examination of Artificial Intelligence Studies on Infants
ABSTRACT The infancy period is a critical stage in which neurobiological, motor, cognitive and socio‐emotional development progresses most rapidly and sensitively. Therefore, artificial intelligence applications make an important contribution to the more sensitive monitoring of early developmental indicators related to infants.
