A Diazo Linker Ligand Promotes Flexibility and Induced Fit Binding in a Microporous Copper Coordination Network

A family of three isostructural coordination networks differs only in the central part of the linker ligand. Whereas a linker comprising an azo bond enabled guest‐induced structural flexibility, including induced fit behavior, networks containing linkers with hydrocarbon moieties were observed to be rigid upon exposure to the same guests.
