During studies of the crustacean fauna from the Caribbean coast of Colombia, a number of samples were obtained in March and July of 1991 at various localities south of Cartagena. A qualitative study of the samples revealed the existence of 43 species of amphipods, 25 of which (58%) had not been previously reported for this coast.
