Tailorable Curie Temperature in Zinc Ferrite Nanoparticles With Finely Tunable Induction Heating Profiles Between Room Temperature and 250°C. [PDF]

open access: yesSmall
A spray‐drying‐based synthesis enables the formation of zinc ferrite nanoparticles with customizable induction heating from room temperature to 250°C by varying the zinc content and postsynthesis annealing temperatures. The aqueous dispersions are colloidally stable and heat up to biologically relevant thresholds. Hence, this approach offers a scalable

PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF THE IOPES SEAMLESS INDOOR-OUTDOOR POSITIONING APPROACH [PDF]

open access: yesThe International Archives of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences, 2021
Tracking the members of civil protection or emergency teams is still an open issue. Although outdoors tracking is routinely performed using well-seasoned techniques such as GNSS, this same problem must be still solved for indoors situations.

Impact of Aerogel Modification for Fe-N-C Activity and Stability towards Oxygen Reduction Reaction in Phosphoric Acid Electrolyte. [PDF]

open access: yesChemSusChem
Carbon aerogels are investigated as novel carbon support for FeN−Cs, which should serve as low‐cost cathode catalysts for high‐temperature PEMFCs. Examination in H3PO4 electrolyte reveals that various aerogel treatments affect oxygen reduction reaction activity and selectivity depending on surface functionalization.
