Null controllability of population dynamics with interior degeneracy
In this article, we study the null controllability of population model with an interior degenerate diffusion. To this end, we proved first a new Carleman estimate for the full adjoint system and then we deduce a suitable observability inequality which

This work studies an integro-fractional differential equation (I-FrDE) with a generalized symmetric singular kernel. The scientific approach in this study was to transform the integro-differential equation (I-DE) into a mixed integral equation (MIE) with

Lipschitz stability in an inverse problem for the wave equation
We are interested in the inverse problem of the determination of the potential $p(x), x\in\Omega\subset\mathbb{R}^n$ from the measurement of the normal derivative $\partial_\nu u$ on a suitable part $\Gamma_0$ of the boundary of $\Omega$, where $u$ is ...

Null controllability of a population dynamics with interior degeneracy
In this paper, we deal with the null controllability of a population dynamics model with an interior degenerate diffusion. To this end, we proved first a new Carleman estimate for the full adjoint system and afterwards we deduce a suitable observability ...

Carleman Type Estimates in an Anisotropic Case and Applications
We give proofs and some further applications of estimates announced in the author's note [Sov. Math. Dokl. 22, 639-642 (1980); transl. from Dokl. Akad. Nauk SSSR 255, 18-21 (1980; Zbl 0468.35030)]. These results extend those of \textit{L. Hörmander} [Linear partial differential operators, Springer, Berlin etc.

Carleman estimates for higher step Grushin operators
The higher step Grushin operators $\Delta_{\alpha}$ are a family of sub-elliptic operators which degenerate on a sub-manifold of $\mathbb{R}^{n+m}$. This paper establishes Carleman-type inequalities for these operators. It is achieved by deriving a weighted $L^{p}-L^{q}$ estimate for the Grushin-harmonic projector.

Null controllability of a cascade system of Schrodinger equations
This article presents a control problem for a cascade system of two linear N-dimensional Schrodinger equations. We address the problem of null controllability by means of a control supported in a region not satisfying the classical geometrical control
