Immigrant mental health, safe work, discrimination, and state policies: From racism and xenophobia to health equity
American Journal of Community Psychology, EarlyView.Abstract
An ecological model was developed to examine the pathways linking immigration state policies to physically safe work conditions and work volition, interpersonal discrimination, and mental health distress. The ecological framework was tested among two subsamples totaling 529 Latinx immigrant participants: (1) immigrants who resided in states ...Germán A. Cadenas, Thanharat Silamongkol, H. American Journal of Hematology, EarlyView.ABSTRACT
Talquetamab is a GPRC5D × CD3 bispecific antibody approved for relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM). This is the first real‐world study to comprehensively report muco‐cutaneous toxicities, infections, and efficacy of talquetamab in 151 patients across five countries with the longest follow‐up reported enabling better efficacy and ...Murali Janakiram, Carlyn R. American Journal of Hematology, EarlyView.ABSTRACT
Quizartinib is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor with single agent activity in patients with relapsed or refractory (R/R) acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and has demonstrated efficacy in first‐line therapy when combined with intensive chemotherapy in both FLT3 ITD‐negative and positive AML.Teresa Bernal, Javier Zambrano Márquez, Rebeca Rodríguez‐Veiga, Eduardo Rodríguez‐Arbolí, Juan Manuel Bergua‐Burgués, Susana Vives, Montserrat Arnán, Pilar Martínez Sánchez, Pilar Herrera‐Puente, Josefina Serrano‐López, Vicente Rubio, Inmaculada Marchante‐Cepillo, Marta Cervera‐Calvo, Andrés Novo García, Rosa Fernández Martín, Cristina Gil Cortés, Carlos Rodríguez‐Medina, Victor Noriega‐Concepción, Ana Alfonso‐Piérola, Carmen Loredo, María Antuña‐Casal, Blanca Boluda, Isabel Cano‐Ferri, Evelyn Acuña‐Cruz, Laura Torres‐Miñana, Joaquín Sánchez‐García, Cristina Bilbao, Maria Teresa Gómez‐Casares, David Martínez Cuadrón, Pau Montesinos +29 morewiley +1 more sourceLong‐Term Follow Up of Two Patients With Variants in the Cluster 1031‐1159 of TRRAP Gene: Expanding the Phenotype of Developmental Delay With or Without Dysmorphic Facies and Autism
American Journal of Medical Genetics Part A, EarlyView.ABSTRACT
The transformation/transcription domain‐associated protein (TRRAP) gene encodes a large multidomain protein, a member of the phosphatidylinositol 3‐kinase‐related kinase (PIKK) family. TRRAP is a component of the histone acetyltransferase (HAT) complex, and it plays an important role in gene transcription, DNA repair, and cell‐cycle regulation.Roseli Maria Zechi‐Ceide, Vinicius Contrucci Dantas Segarra, Siulan Vendramini‐Pittoli, Henrique Regonaschi Serigatto, Luiza Virmond, Heloisa Marcelina da Cunha Palhares, Fernanda Jehee, Ana Cristina Victorino Krepischi, Carla Rosenberg, Carlos Henrique Paiva Grangeiro, Nancy Mizue Kokitsu‐Nakata +10 morewiley +1 more sourceDiagnostic Odyssey of Atypical Long‐Chain 3‐Hydroxyacyl‐CoA Dehydrogenase Deficiency (LCHADD) Explained by Three Allelic Products From Two Pathogenic Variants
American Journal of Medical Genetics Part A, EarlyView.ABSTRACT
Long‐chain 3‐hydroxyacyl‐CoA dehydrogenase deficiency (LCHADD) is an autosomal recessive mitochondrial defect of long‐chain fatty acid β‐oxidation, caused by biallelic pathogenic variants in HADHA or HADHB. We report a 22‐year‐old male with an atypically mild presentation of LCHADD who was referred to the Undiagnosed Diseases Network (UDN ...Yutaka Furuta, Lynette C. Rives, T. Andrew Burrow, Thomas A. Angewandte Chemie, EarlyView. The impact of C‐3 fluorination on the synthesis and conformation of alginate oligosaccharides is investigated. A C‐3‐fluoro mannuronic acid building block is generated and shown to react with high β‐selectivity. Automated glycan assembly enables access to uniquely fluorinated mannuronic acid alginates where deoxyfluorination is shown not to perturb the Sean T. Evans, Nishu Yadav, Wouter A.
