This study presents MOMSATC, a novel model predictive control‐based framework for adaptive traffic signal control that explicitly balances pedestrian safety, vehicle safety and delay. By integrating a hybrid safety evaluation model and a multi‐task predictor, it converts safety risks into monetary costs for transparent and multi‐objective optimisation.
