Metamodeling of Void Closure during Hot Flat Rolling

open access: yessteel research international, Volume 97, Issue 1, Page 104-115, January 2026.
This work aims to present a fast metamodel for void closure during hot flat rolling. The model takes into account every individual void of void distributions as found in industrial material and is capable of calculating the resulting void closure within only few seconds of computational time without loosing significant accuracy compared to expensive ...

Multi‐Objective Multi‐Step Adaptive Traffic Control (MOMSATC): Prioritising Pedestrians for a Safe and Sustainable Transport Development

open access: yesIET Intelligent Transport Systems, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This study presents MOMSATC, a novel model predictive control‐based framework for adaptive traffic signal control that explicitly balances pedestrian safety, vehicle safety and delay.
