Revisiting Incomplete Tissue‐Level Reperfusion Following Successful Thrombectomy for Acute Ischemic Stroke

open access: yesAnnals of Neurology, EarlyView.
Among patients with acute ischemic stroke achieving successful large vessel recanalization (defined as expanded Thrombolysis in Cerebral Infarction [eTICI ≥2b]), incomplete tissue‐level reperfusion, distinct from visually identifiable distal occlusion on digital‐subtraction angiography, remains a significant challenge.

Clot Composition Profiling in Large Vessel Occlusion Stroke Via Radiomics

open access: yesAnnals of Neurology, EarlyView.
Objective Clot composition may offer insights into the mechanism of ischemic stroke. Radiomics, a noninvasive imaging technique, enables tissue characterization through radiomic features (RFs). We aimed to evaluate clot composition using radiomics on non‐contrast computed tomography (NCCT).

Revisiting a long‐overlooked skull: Implications for the distribution of Dinodontosaurus brevirostris (Kannemeyeriiformes) in the Brazilian Triassic

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Abstract Dicynodonts (Anomodontia: Dicynodontia) were one of the main groups of terrestrial tetrapods in Permian and Triassic faunas. In Brazil, the genus Dinodontosaurus is one of the most common tetrapod taxon in the Triassic Santa Maria Supersequence. This genus has a complex taxonomic history and is represented in the Triassic of both Argentina and

Clinical value of right subclavian artery atheromatosis presented as the marker of early carotid artery arteriosclerosis

open access: yesChinese Journal of Contemporary Neurology and Neurosurgery, 2013
Background There are many reports regarding the harmful effect of arteriosclerosis at the bifurcation of common carotid artery, but few researches involving the application of color Doppler sonography scanning for the diagnosis of arteriosclerosis at the

Hominoid‐specific calretinin‐immunopositivity of the optic radiation (geniculocalcarine tract)

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Calretinin‐immunostained coronal section through the primary (V1) and extrastriate (ExSt) cortex of the lar gibbon. Note that the optic radiation (OR) is strongly calretinin‐immunoreactive. This calretinin‐immunopositivity of the OR distinguishes the Hominoidea from other primates in terms of the neurochemistry of the OR.

King Aorta: Narrative anatomy education

open access: yesAnatomical Sciences Education, Volume 18, Issue 3, Page 264-276, March 2025.
Abstract The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of narrative anatomy education and traditional anatomy education on academic achievement. The study included 64 students who were randomly divided into two groups. The two groups were (n = 32) control (Group 1) and (n = 32) experimental (Group 2). The pretest scores of the two groups were 36.
