Monocyte‐Differentiation‐Activated Fluorescent “Scout” Probe for Precise in Vivo Detection of Vulnerable Plaque

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An innovative monocyte‐differentiation‐activated fluorescent “scout” probe (MDAF) leverages the inherent chemotaxis of monocytes toward vulnerable plaques (VAP) to enable efficient targeted delivery while achieving spatiotemporally controllable activation of its AIE fluorescent signals with the dynamic differentiation of monocytes, providing an ...

Contrast-enhanced ultrasound imaging of carotid plaque neovascularization is useful for identifying high-risk patients with coronary artery disease.

open access: yesCirculation Journal, 2013
BACKGROUND  Contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) in the carotid artery has potential as a technique for imaging plaque neovascularization. This study examined whether CEUS could provide information on the severity and instability of coronary artery ...

Brd4 BD1 Domain Antagonism of MS436 Preserves Blood‐Brain Barrier Integrity via Rnf43/β‐Catenin Signaling Pathway

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
MS436 competitively binds to the BD1 domain of Brd4, thereby suppressing Brd4 induced degradation of tight junction proteins via the Rnf43‐Fzd4‐β‐catenin signaling pathway. Consequently, this attenuation of degradation reduces blood‐brain barrier leakage, leading to an improved overall prognosis after stroke.
