Gli echi dalle Elegie duinesi

open access: yesCahiers d’Études Italiennes, 2023
This essay offers an intertextual perspective on themes and motifs from Rainer Maria Rilke’s Duino Elegies that run through Cristina Campo’s work. The Elegies, which were never translated by Campo, were appreciated for their references to beauty, one of ...

Local rigidity for hyperbolic groups with Sierpi\'nski carpet boundaries [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Let $G$ and $\tilde G$ be Kleinian groups whose limit sets $S$ and $\tilde S$, respectively, are homeomorphic to the standard Sierpi\'nski carpet, and such that every complementary component of each of $S$ and $\tilde S$ is a round disc.

Modification Strategies of Carbon‐Based Electrodes From Structural Regulation to Multifunctional Integration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Tracing the evolution from structural regulation to multifunctional integration, this paper systematically analyzes modification strategies for carbon‐based electrodes. It evaluates how element doping, surface functionalization, and composite material design affect the electrode performance, and offers perspectives on future applications and challenges

Cascade‐Responsive MXene@Cu‐MOF Heterostructure Integrates Antioxidant Activity, Infection Control, and Vascularization for Tracheal Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A cascade‐responsive MXene@Cu‐MOF/GelMA hydrogel is engineered as a “skeleton–backpack” platform for extensive tracheal repair. The MXene framework scavenges postoperative ROS and converts NIR light into mild hyperthermia, while the Cu‐MOF component provides pH/NIR‐responsive Cu2+ dosing for infection control, angiogenesis, and chondrogenesis.

Embedded Direct‐Written Organic Micro‐TEGs for High‐Efficiency Skin‐Heat Harvesting

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A finite‐element–guided design of direct‐written organic micro‐thermoelectric generators is presented for efficient skin‐heat harvesting. Embedding PEDOT:PSS/PBFDO thermoelectric legs within flexible substrates suppresses interfacial heat losses and enhances vertical heat flow.

Mimicking Life: Autonomous Oscillating Artificial Cilia Driven by Chemical Power

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
The synthesis and motion analysis of chemically actuated, individually autonomous artificial cilia are presented. Driven by an internal chemical reaction, the self‐driven individual cilia require no external stimuli. They undergo periodic oscillatory motion with a 3D beat pattern and exhibit chemotactic shifts, reminiscent of biological systems.
