Study of Disturbances Model on Carrier-Based Aircraft Landing Process
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2013The disturbances in the landing process of carrier-based aircraft include deck movement and ship wake. To guarantee the security of landing process, the simulation and model are necessary for the disturbances, and the deck movement and ship wake should be analyzed as well.

Strategies of Testing and Repairing Carrier-Based Aircraft Accessories
2014Carrier-based aircrafts operate on the sea all the year round, and lots of aircrafts take off from and land on the carrier. Overloaded aircrafts result in great load fluctuation of various mechanical system accessories. In addition, the phenomenon of severe corrosion exists in the atmospheric environment.

Research on lateral dynamics safety margins of carrier-based aircraft arresting
The Aeronautical Journal, 2022AbstractFor the safety problems caused by the limited landing space of the deck during the arresting process of the carrier-based aircraft, a dynamic model of the carrier-based aircraft’s landing and arresting is built. Based on the batch simulation method, the lateral dynamics safety envelope of the aircraft during the arresting was defined, and the ...

Allocation of carrier-based attack aircraft using non-linear programming
Naval Research Logistics Quarterly, 1971The paper presents the formulation and several solutions of a model for allocating a fixed number of aircraft to carriers and to missions. The amount of damage that can be inflicted is maximized. A nonseparable concave nonlinear objective function expresses diminishing marginal damage.

An improved method for risk assessment of carrier-based aircraft
2012 IEEE International Conference on Information and Automation, 2012During the process of aircraft landing, the risk assessment of pilot control characteristics is always used to predict aircraft safety. This is one of the important methods to avoid pilot-aircraft adverse coupling. In order to keep the accuracy of the assessment result, this paper presents an improved method for defining the landing risk assessment ...

Modeling and simulation for arrested landing of carrier-based aircraft
2011 IEEE International Conference on Mechatronics and Automation, 2011Mathematical model of a hydraulic arresting gear system on aircraft carrier is constructed. The constant runout control valve device which is the most important part of arresting gear system is studied. In the following, a simulation model based on the mathematical model is set up, and simulation experiments are carried out.

Research on Longitudinal Landing Track Control Technology of Carrier-based Aircraft
2020 Chinese Control And Decision Conference (CCDC), 2020Whether the landing control is accurate or not has an important impact on the landing safety. The traditional landing method has great limitation. The aerodynamic characteristics of canard aircraft are analyzed. Aiming at the deficiency of conventional control, a longitudinal trajectory control system based on direct force control is proposed, and a ...

A Preview Control Scheme for Carrier-Based Aircraft Automatic Landing
2018 37th Chinese Control Conference (CCC), 2018This paper studies the automatic carrier landing control problem of carrier-based aircraft, by applying a preview control method. A new automatic carrier landing system (ACLS) for carrier-based aircraft is developed using the advanced knowledge of glide path and longitudinal deck motion.
