Automatic Taxiing Direction Control System for Carrier-Based Aircraft

open access: yesTransactions on Maritime Science, 2019
This paper solves the problem of automatic taxiing direction control of carrier-based aircraft. On modern aircraft carriers, taxiing aircraft either propel themselves using their own engines or are towed by specialised tugs, which requires dedicated personnel and assets. The automatization of this process would simultaneously increase aircraft flow and

Real-time Prediction Model of Carrier Aircraft Landing Trajectory Based on Stagewise Autoencoders and Attention Mechanism [PDF]

open access: yesJisuanji kexue
During the landing process of an aircraft carrier, the carrier aircraft should fly along a relatively fixed trajectory to ensure that the touch point is located in the area where the stern arresting system is located. Therefore, the carrier aircraft ...

Research on Integrated Lifting of Carrier⁃Based Aircraft

open access: yesNanjing Hangkong Hangtian Daxue Xuebao
The integrated lifting of carrier-based aircraft is critical to aircraft carrier groups, as it can trasport the damaged aircraft that cannot fly to land-based facilities for repair. This study addresses key challenges in the integrated lifting of carrier-

A Cosimulation Framework for Carrier‐Based Aircraft Arrested Landing Process

open access: yesInternational Journal of Aerospace Engineering
A multiphysics cosimulation methodology for time‐domain load analysis of carrier‐based aircraft arrested landing is proposed in this paper. The framework integrates six‐degree‐of‐freedom (6‐DoF) flight dynamics with nonlinear rigid–flexible coupling mechanisms, incorporating factors including aerodynamic load, arresting cable dynamics, nonlinear ...

Current Status and Challenges in Data Collection for Aerospace Coatings Deposited by Plasma Spraying

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
An innovative approach has been integrated into the GRENAT project to optimize plasma spraying and coating performance. Raw materials are accelerated and melted in the plasma generated by torches, creating coatings. Monitoring sensors collect process data which are combined with ex situ characterization data.
